Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland is a prestigious culinary school situated in the beautiful country of Switzerland. It is closely affiliated with César Ritz Colleges Switzerland, further enhancing its reputation and expertise in the field.
During the initial 2 years of their studies, Bachelor’s students are situated at the Le Bouveret campus in French-speaking Switzerland, overlooking the beautiful Lake Geneva. During their last year, students have the opportunity to study at the campus in Brig, located in German-speaking Switzerland.
The Mosimann Collection, provided by Chef Anton Mosimann, OBE, is housed at the Le Bouveret campus. It is an extensive collection of culinary memorabilia.
Undergraduate students have the opportunity to pursue a dual bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts through a partnership with the esteemed University of Derby, U.K. Students have the option to select from 3 different pathways that cater to their specific interests in the culinary field. These pathways include Pastry & Chocolate, Vegetarian cuisine, or a more general focus on Culinary Arts. The Bachelor’s programme also offers 2 internships, providing students with valuable professional work experience throughout their studies.
Postgraduate students have the opportunity to pursue a dual Master’s degree in Culinary Management, which is offered in collaboration with the University of Derby, U.K.
There are also shorter professional programmes on offer, such as the 15-month Swiss Grand Diploma and the 2-year Swiss Higher Diploma programmes.
In 1991, Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland was established, and the next year, the school, then called Domino Carlton Tivoli International Hotel Management Career Centre, opened its doors to its inaugural batch of students at its campus in the picturesque Carlton-Tivoli Hotel in Lucerne, offering breathtaking views of Lake Lucerne. At this location, Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland experienced significant growth and development in its early years, forging valuable partnerships with Johnson & Wales University and Lynn University.
