This move was driven by the increasing number of students and the need to accommodate their growth. After two years, the college expanded to cater to more than 900 full-time students and set up a permanent campus called INTI College Subang Jaya (ICSJ). In 1991 and 1996, branch campuses were established in Kuching, Sarawak, and Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, respectively.
