The University of Leeds is a renowned public research institution located in the vibrant city of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. The establishment of the institution dates back to 1874 when it was known as the Yorkshire College of Science. In 1884, it joined forces with the Leeds School of Medicine, which had been established in 1831, and underwent a name change to Yorkshire College.
