The University of Wollongong Dubai is an offshore campus of the University of Wollongong in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Founded in 1993, the university is situated in the Dubai Knowledge Park and caters to a diverse student body of over 3,500 individuals from 108 different countries. Contrary to other foreign universities in the UAE, the University of Wollongong in Dubai operates independently as its own entity. Although it is affiliated with the University of Wollongong in Australia, this university maintains its independence from the parent institution. University of Wollongong Dubai is situated in the vibrant city of Dubai. The Campus is located at the UOWD building in Dubai Knowledge Village, an educational free-trade zones campus in the city of Dubai that offers excellent facilities for training and learning institutions. The university campus boasts a range of facilities that cater to the needs of students. These include the administrative building, library, faculties, student lounge, Multipurpose Room, and the Food Court, which offers a variety of dining options and serves as a central eating area for the entire Dubai Knowledge Village. The Residences are conveniently situated in Jebel Ali Gardens, just a short bus ride away from Dubai Knowledge Village. UOWD undergraduate and postgraduate degrees have received accreditation from the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (UAE) (Commission for Academic Accreditation). Additionally, they undergo audits conducted by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) of Australia. Some programmes have received accreditation from international organisations such as ACCA, CIM, CIMA, CILT, CIPS, and others.
