Vancouver Film School (VFS) is a renowned institution specialising in entertainment arts education, situated in the vibrant city of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Established in 1987, it has gained global acclaim. The Vancouver Film School is strategically situated in various locations across Downtown Vancouver, encompassing a total of six impressive buildings. In preparation for the school’s 20th anniversary in 2007, a generous amount of one million dollars was allocated towards scholarships for incoming students in August 2006. In March 2008, Vancouver Film School and YouTube collaborated on a competition to award three full-tuition scholarships to the creators of the top three videos chosen by the YouTube community.
